Perfil buscado (Hombre/Mujer) Working closely with DSP (Demand-Side Platform) ML and DMP (Data Management Platform) teams to integrate and curate data effectively into our Data Lake. Collaborating across teams to build and improve data tools ensuring our data architecture supports real-time insights and analytics. Owning data quality and reliability ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met. Contributing to code reviews architectural discussions and the continuous improvement of our Data Platform. Mentoring junior team members and contributing to best engineering practices.
American company Remote work A successful Data Platform Engineer should have Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field. 3+ years of experience in data engineering with a focus on data quality and infrastructure. Proficiency in a range of data engineering technologies (e.G. Python SQL Data Lake Warehouse Kafka AWS Airflow). Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively. Proficiency in developing and optimizing data pipelines with a strong understanding of both batch processing and real-time streaming technologies. Familiarity with AWS services and DevOps practices including CI/CD and automation. Knowledge of data ingestion software engineering and security best practices. Familiarity with Apache Iceberg or similar table formats and data management technologies is a plus. Occasional tript to the offices located in Zaragoza.
