AWS Cloud Engineer

We are seeking for some certified AWS cloud engineers with proven experience on migration of applications and databases from on-premise to AWS cloud.

The candidates will be a key team member enabling, supporting and guiding the existing team to prepare, run and migrate a set of applications and databases from on-premise datacenter to AWS cloud.

This candidate will also move later to be part of the product teams being a cross profile and collaborating in multiple initiatives on different domains.

AWS technical capabilities

• Deep knowledge of architecture of AWS public and hybrid cloud
• Experienced in handling migrations from datacenter to the cloud in a phased approach which includes Discovery, assessment, migration, warranty and operations support
• Experienced in performance and cost optimization of cloud environments
• Experience in database migration tools for SQL, Oracle, and other databases
• Good knowledge on IaaS, PaaS and SaaS cloud offerings.
• Working knowledge on AWS DevOps
• Experience in migrating applications to IaaS to PaaS and SaaS
• Experience in designing cost-effective Compute, storage and network solution in AWS.
• Experienced in implementation of DR solution in cloud environments
• Experienced in managing compliances factors – tagging, configuration standards, vulnerability remediation, hardening, AMI creation, patching
• Experienced in defining VPC for enterprises with Direct Connect and VPN
• Working knowledge on AWS DevOps and core AWS architecture as:
  • EC2
  • IAM
  • RDS
  • S3
  • VPC
  • Monitoring
  • Backup design
• Act as cloud advisor to clients
• Act as a SME with hands on experience of migration
• AWS Solution Architect professional

Prior Experience

• 3-5 years IT Infrastructure experience – covering all part of AWS migration components in a typical organization
• Proven track record in on-premise to AWS cloud migration projects
