Job Opportunity : Data Management Technician at SED Spain in Granada, Spain

The Position : Data Management Technician

Join our Production Engineering Department, focusing on assembling / testing electronic equipment for timing distribution and managing data in ARENA PLM (Product Lifecycle Management).

Responsibilities :

  • Assemble and test electronic equipment in a lab setting.
  • Read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical documents for equipment assembly.
  • Conduct precise and safe soldering and electrical connections.

Perform functional tests, ensuring quality and performance of electronic equipment.

  • Maintain accurate records of tests and results during assembly and testing.
  • Manage the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system using Arena.
  • Handle Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and manage BOMs and electronic components in the PLM system.
  • Oversee general documentation in PLM, such as RoHS, drawings, datasheets, etc.
  • Collaborate with other departments to manage technical documentation in the PLM system.

What We Look For :

  • Experience in electronic equipment assembly and testing.
  • Prior experience with PLM systems, preferably ARENA.
  • Solid electronics knowledge and familiarity with lab tools.
  • Ability to interpret electrical diagrams and technical documents.
  • Proficiency in soldering and connecting electronic components.
  • Linux operating system knowledge.
  • Experience with assembly and testing computer tools.
  • Familiarity with IPC Class 2 standards and safety regulations in electronics assembly.
  • Knowledge of programming, software debugging, electronic measurement, and testing tools.
  • Experience with production management systems and quality control.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for efficient product flow.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish.

Desirable Additional Knowledge :

Over 2 years of experience with PLM systems like SAP and ARENA, focusing on quality control.
