Footwear Designer Men´s

An important international fashion company is seeking a creative and motivated Footwear Design Specialist to join our team.
This role supports the design and development of innovative footwear collections, contributing to the brand’s vision and commercial goals. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fashion, eager to learn, and possess a solid foundation in design principles and techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the creation of footwear designs, from initial concept sketches to final product specifications.
Conduct market research and trend analysis to support design decisions and stay current with industry trends.
Develop detailed technical drawings and specifications under the guidance of senior designers.
Support the prototyping process, ensuring samples meet design expectations and quality standards.
Assist in selecting materials, colours, and finishes that align with the brand’s aesthetic and performance criteria.
Work closely with the design team, product development, and manufacturing partners to ensure seamless project execution.
Contribute fresh ideas and innovative solutions to design challenges. Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
Experience in the fashion retail industry.
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in footwear design, with a strong portfolio showcasing innovative and commercially successful designs.
Exceptional creative vision and design sensibility.
Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, CAD).
Strong understanding of footwear construction and materials.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
Ability to travel as needed.
