Footwear Product Developer Men´s

An important international fashion company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Developer to join our footwear division.

This role supports the product development process, helping to transform innovative designs into high-quality, market-ready products. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical foundation, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the product development process for footwear, from initial concept through to production, ensuring products meet design specifications and quality standards.
Provide technical support to the design and production teams, ensuring the feasibility and manufacturability of footwear designs.
Collaborate with designers and suppliers to select appropriate materials, ensuring they meet performance, aesthetic, and cost requirements.
Assist in the development of prototypes, conducting evaluations to ensure they meet design and quality standards.
Support the implementation and maintenance of quality control processes throughout the product development lifecycle.
Work closely with design, marketing, and supply chain teams to support timely and successful product launches.
Help build and maintain relationships with suppliers and manufacturers, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality materials and components.
Assist in coordinating multiple projects, managing timelines, budgets, and resources to meet business objectives.
Contribute to the exploration of new materials, technologies, and processes to drive innovation and improve product performance. Bachelor’s degree in Product Development, Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in footwear product development or a related field.
Basic technical knowledge of footwear construction, materials, and manufacturing processes.
Strong organisational and project management skills.
Proficiency in design and development software (e.g., CAD, Adobe Creative Suite).
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
