The Senior Consultant will usually be included in a project team and will be given various responsibilities through-out the actuarial projects.

Key Duties (including, but not limited to):
- Actuarial Modelling (risk and capital): development and review of asset-liability models or regulatory internal models
- Regulatory and accounting issues: Solvency II, IFRS 17 and Spanish & Portuguese local GAAP
- SII Internal Model development and validation
- SII risk assessment and capital optimizations
- ALM analysis and cash flows modelling
- Actuarial reporting and reviews
- Insurance mergers & acquisitions and actuarial due diligence alongside transactions
- Financial Risk Management and Sustainability
- Work in support of their Management consulting and Strategy practice
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance or a related field. For actuaries you must be from the Spanish Institute of Actuaries or equivalent international actuarial association
- 2 to 5 years of actuarial experience with significant experience in the Spanish & Portuguese market, consulting experience is a plus
- Strong skills with MS Excel
- Language skills: Spanish (native/fluent) and English (native/fluent) is a strong asset. Portuguese communication skills is a plus
