Marine Fuel Trader (Defense Sector Experience Only)

Responsibilities:

Responsible for:

1. Developing trading strategy of Bunker / Marine fuels / MGO / MFO within global ports to meet the specific requirements for various NATO, Naval forces across the world.
2. Day to day management of military requirements for marine fuel / Bunkers maintaining existing relations and identifying new business opportunities.
3. Concluding and negotiating supply contracts within global ports managing pricing, risk management and logistics from end-to-end.
4. Continuous communication with Naval and military operators to ensure all requirements are met for their fleet.
5. Ensuring all trades are executed in a timely fashion with collaboration with the operations and finance departments.
6. Staying up to date on industry regulations and standards of compliance.
7. Utilizing the company’s in-house tools across operations, pricing, logistics to ensure smooth execution of delivery.

Requirements:

1. Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a trading house or physical supplier of Marine fuels / Bunker / MFO / MGO/ New Fuels within the Military/Navy or defense sector globally.
2. Experience dealing with Marine fuel operations within Global ports (Europe, Asia, Africa, US etc).
3. Key knowledge of bunker operation regulations within various geographies.
4. Experience within key account management (Military or Navy account management beneficial).
5. Fluent in English & Spanish (European languages beneficial).
