Project Engineer for AC and HVDC Subsea Cable Technology (m / f / x))

Your Tasks

  • Support subsea cable projects (AC and HVDC) with cable engineering, design, technology and manufacturing know -how
  • Develop HV cable specifications for inner array or export cable systems
  • Review cable design and manufacturing documents
  • Prepare and attend supplier and factory audits as well as cable type tests, and support the cable manufacturing supervision
  • Backoffice engineering for NCR and punch items from the cable manufacturing process
  • Manage the interface to the cable installation
  • Identify and report technical risks
  • Contribute to the overall optimization of inner array grid layouts and export cable connections for offshore wind farms
  • Report to package and / or project managers and liaise with colleagues from other work

Your Profile

  • Master, Bachelor or equivalent in electrical or industrial engineering
  • Several years of relevant subsea cable engineering experience
  • Familiar with developing or working with EPC tender, design and manufacturing documents
  • Experience in the field of high-voltage direct current (HVDC) and / or AC power transmission
  • Experience in offshore wind and / or interconnector projects
  • Fluency in English
  • Willingness to undertake regular trips to the project countries
  • Valid EU work permit
