Retail & Category trainee

Job Description

Responsibilities

1. Assist the Italy, Iberia & Agents Retail & Category Senior Director and team, providing valuable support for the day-to-day operational category and retail processes, including planning, executing, and documenting campaigns, as well as pitch and presentation help.
2. Support the Team in keeping up to date information related to partners, tracking of Retail & Marketing activations of all categories, and gathering them in hub quarterly reports.
3. Assist the head of Retail & Marketing in Iberia with presentation preparations and watermarked deliveries to partners; creative assets localizations and compilation from regional/Assets Platform (CAF); preparing meetings minutes and following up with local licensees conversations/activations.
4. Assist the whole team with trend and market research, monitoring the marketing activities of our key retail partners, competitors, as well as general industry trends and innovations.
5. Responsible of raising Purchase Orders and keeping track of invoices for Iberia, Italy and Agents, as well as managing processes related to vendors in the internal systems (creation of new vendors, extensions,…).
6. Assist the Italy, Iberia & Agents Retail & Category Senior Director (based in Madrid) in preparing meetings, organizing agendas, and supporting her in the day-to-day job.

Qualifications

• Strong interest in Consumer Products, Licensing and Retail/Marketing with passion for creative and visual work.
• Enthusiasm for product, trends, and innovation; interest in film, TV and digital content is a plus.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office.
• Confident communicator with organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
• Excellent Spanish.
• Fluent English.
• Willingness to learn, with the ability to take direction and absorb information quickly.
• Strong sense of team spirit and an all-round positive attitude.
