Senior ABAP Developer (Oil and Gas)

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior SAP HANA Release Upgrade and Development Specialist to join our team. This role is crucial for ensuring the successful implementation and upgrade of SAP HANA systems within our organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP S/4HANA, particularly in release upgrades and ABAP development, with a strong background in the oil and gas industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• SAP HANA Release Upgrades:
  – Lead and execute SAP S/4HANA release upgrades, with hands-on experience in more than two upgrades.
  – Utilize release upgrade tools and methodologies to ensure smooth transitions and minimal disruptions.
• ABAP S/4HANA Development:
  – Over 15 years of experience in ABAP development within SAP S/4HANA environments.
  – Develop, test, and implement custom solutions and enhancements in SAP S/4HANA.
• Industry Expertise:
  – Leverage essential experience in the oil and gas sector to understand industry-specific requirements and challenges.
• Workflow Development:
  – Design and implement effective workflows to streamline business processes within SAP.
• Team Leadership:
  – Lead a team of SAP developers for 3-5 years, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
  – Ensure quality assurance and conduct thorough code reviews to maintain high standards.
  – Prepare and maintain WRICEF (Workflow, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms) documentation.
• System Architecture and Design:
  – Possess 5-8 years of experience in system architecture and design, particularly in the migration of FIORI Front End Server to Embedded deployment.
  – Collaborate with other architects and developers to design robust and scalable SAP solutions.
• SAP Security Concepts:
  – Understanding of SAP security concepts including authorization and access management (nice to have).
• MI Reporting and Embedded Analytics:
  – Experience with SAP HANA modelling and Embedded analytics for MI reporting (nice to have).
