Senior Footwear Designer Men´s

An important international fashion company is seeking a talented and visionary Senior Footwear Designer to join our dynamic team.
This role is crucial in shaping the creative direction of our footwear collections, from concept to final product. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of fashion trends, a strong creative vision, and the technical skills to bring innovative designs to life.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the creative process for footwear design, from initial concept sketches to final product development.
Conduct thorough market research and trend analysis to inform design decisions and stay ahead of industry trends.
Develop detailed design specifications and technical drawings to guide the production process.
Work closely with the product development, marketing, and manufacturing teams to ensure cohesive and commercially viable products.
Oversee the creation of prototypes, ensuring they meet design specifications and quality standards.
Choose appropriate materials, colours, and finishes that align with the brand’s aesthetic and performance requirements.
Continuously seek out new design techniques, materials, and technologies to push the boundaries of footwear design. Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
Experience in the fashion retail industry.
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in footwear design, with a strong portfolio showcasing innovative and commercially successful designs.
Exceptional creative vision and design sensibility.
Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, CAD).
Strong understanding of footwear construction and materials.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
Ability to travel as needed.
