We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sports Shop Assistant to join our team. You will play a key role in providing excellent customer service, maintaining the organization of the sports shop, and assisting customers in finding the right products.
Responsibilities:
* Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
* Provide product features and benefits, answer inquiries, and offer recommendations
* Actively participate in sales efforts by promoting featured products and upselling when appropriate
* Achieve and exceed sales targets
* Receive, check, and organize merchandise deliveries
* Maintain accurate inventory records and assist in regular stock checks
* Warehouse organization
* Keep the sports shop clean, organized, and visually appealing
* Ensure an appealing presentation of products through effective merchandising
* Implement and maintain attractive product displays
* Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
* Provide support to Sportsbooking and other sports-related areas
* Stay informed about sports products, trends, and industry developments
* This position requires a passion for sports, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to meeting customer needs
* Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in a sports-related environment
* Familiarity with sales processes, enhancing the ability to assist clients in making informed choices
* Knowledge of sports equipment and apparel
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Proactive approach and customer-focused attitude
* Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
* Basic administrative skills, including point of sale systems
* Fluent in English and Spanish; proficiency in additional languages such as German and/or Scandinavian language is highly valued
