What are we looking for?
As part of the Market Analytics team, the Data Analyst will be responsible to turn data into impactful business insights that will support the decision-making in business areas and functions. You will be fostering positive relationships with business areas, understanding their needs and priorities.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Understand business area’s needs, identifying, gathering, and integrating the necessary data from different data sources into analyses to underpin strategic decisions.
- Develop, implement, automate reports and dashboards with strategic KPIs.
- Perform comprehensive analysis to support ad-hoc reporting requests.
- Ensure high data quality information in all reporting and data sources.
- Influencing key cross-functional business stakeholders by delivering analyses and recommendations.
- Challenge the status quo and consistently identify areas for improvement, diagnose issues and working to resolve them.
- Cultivate a broad knowledge of the organization, being able to identify needs and synergies, and promoting a collaborative culture that facilitates evolution of the capacities of using and exploiting the value of the data for the organization.
What do we need?
- Preferred BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical/data field.
- 3+ years of experience in data analytics and business intelligence.
- Programming skills: manipulate, analyse, visualize large amount of data, and perform data quality tests using Python (specially numpy, pandas, matplotlib, and seaborn), Microstrategy, advanced SQL and BI tools (PowerBI, Tableau or similar).
- Deep analytics background and problem-solving skills.
- Insurance experience and forecast model knowledge are considered a plus.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Presentation skills.
- Strong drive for excellence, attention to detail.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
