We are looking to hire a Controller for an International company in the chemical-industrial sector located in Vallés Occidental.

Mission

The Business Controlling Analyst we are looking for will take ownership of consolidating the P&Ls (HQ and the rest of the sites), ensuring data accuracy, and providing decision support analysis for the local leadership team. The ideal candidate should have Manufacturing Controlling knowledge to support the team effectively. The new colleague will play a key role in providing leadership to create increased visibility into the operational strategy and performance with the goal of driving speed, quality, and cost efficiency, and in the preparation of the Annual Budget. He/She will be part of a very dynamic environment, working closely with local and regional business team members.

Functions

As a member of our team, your main functions will be:

1. Provide on-time and accurate monthly and YTD information regarding P&L and analysis of monthly performance issues. Ensure business reports are created on time and with accuracy, in compliance with the reporting calendar.
2. Further develop the internal reporting package. Reporting and analysis – present complex financial issues in a simple “customer-friendly” manner.
3. As the Manufacturing Controller backup, one of your main functions must be to ensure the costing and conduct necessary analysis in the Plant.
4. Work with subsidiaries on standardizing policies to ensure consistent reporting methodology.
5. Develop key performance indicator reporting including new tools and propose value-added changes to more clearly understand business drivers and reduce risks.
6. Identify improvement areas, establish clear processes.
7. Maintain a close relationship with all departments to ensure understanding, accuracy, and validity of financial information.
8. Lead complex initiatives, manage numerous priorities.
9. Provide ad-hoc analysis, leveraging the finance network and available information.

Key Knowledge

• 3-5 years of combined experience in Controlling/Reporting & FP&A, preferably in a multinational company with some experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Advanced level of English (C1).
• Advanced level in Excel.
• Knowledge of SAP (FI/CO/PA, MM).
