Join our global Port Agency billing team in Barcelona, as a Port Agency Billing Supervisor. In this position, you will work closely with both the port agency team and the accounts payable team of a cruise company. You will supervise a team, distribute workloads between team members as per business needs, detect bottlenecks in the process causing delays, and help improve the process for quick and effective invoicing.
- Responsibilities:
- Reconciliation of supplier statements
- Organize all documentation and backups from ship’s calls
- General administrative duties to support the finance team
- Generate/send invoices to ship-owners and resolve any queries/disputes
- Manage the team and distribute the workload according to business needs
- Requirements:
- Good academic background and excellent command of the English language
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and conflicting priorities
- Experience in ship industry finance/invoicing departments is a plus
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Package
