Job Description

Continuous Improvement Lead support the implementation of Continuous Improvement (Lean Excellence) in Krakow. The role will support the team of continuous improvement experts and will ensure Lean Excellence gets embedded in the culture and the DNA of our people and their mindset and lead our organizations to next levels in our Lean Excellence Maturity model.

The team will build Lean capabilities in GBS by providing training on both Lean and Six Sigma, similar to Yellow Belt and Green Belt level and embedding this in the standard onboarding process of new people. On top of that you will be optimizing processes along the value stream, by means of waste elimination, reducing non-value added activities, simplification, standardization, automation and digitalization.

The Continuous Improvement Lead will coach subject matter experts in GBS as well as during kaizen events, value stream mapping exercises etc. and ensure best practices are shared across the organization.

Accountabilities

  1. Work with Management Team members and other Finance stakeholders to define process improvement priorities
  2. Oversee a number of improvement initiatives to improve performance key metrics, generate savings and add business value.
  3. Identify the improvement needs and take the initiative whilst ensuring the usage of the correct continuous improvement standards
  4. Support the determination of knowledge and competence gaps and deliver training either directly or via internal or external experts
  5. Lead complex regional Process Improvement projects as well initiatives
  6. Create a strong continuous improvement culture within the GBS
  7. Manage and coach staff to complete continuous improvement projects and initiatives
  8. Maintain consistent lean behaviors and coach project team members on the lean behaviors
  9. Communicate the lean vision to all stakeholders
  10. Ensure initiation of Value Stream Maps and manage improvements and maintenance
  11. Capture, document and share best practice, transferring knowledge across deployment sites
  12. Support and monitor the Lean maturity progression and exit of the LMM phases
  13. Maintain a self-learning organization with room for development of people
  14. Ensure sufficient focus on innovation and automation in this digital era
  15. Train and coach GBS in daily management and problem solving, understanding root causes of issues, implementing countermeasures and embedding the new way of working.
