Role purpose
Purpose of the role is to do data analysis and operational activities for the carrier billing team. The role requires basic knowledge of billing systems (Kenan and IOA) and a logical mindset to identify improvement areas and enhance efficiency through automation/process improvements. The role involves close cooperation with stakeholders like Finance, IT, and Sales.
Key accountabilities:
- Ensure accurate and timely update of reference data configuration in Interconnect system like Trunks, Switch, Network Operator set up.
- Ensure accurate and timely update of tariffs into the Interconnect system.
- Handle customer invoicing and supplier invoice reconciliation.
- Analyze data correctly as required.
- Analyze error/suspense CDRs and provide timely resolution.
- Prepare reports and graphs as needed.
- Understand Customer and Supplier concepts and handle them in systems accordingly.
- Adhere to SLA and KPIs, and provide reporting.
- Come up with innovative ideas for effort reduction and process improvements.
Skills and Experience:
- 1+ years of experience in Telecom billing operations and process improvements.
- Basic understanding of Interconnect billing system.
- Good knowledge of SQL and MS Excel.
- Basic understanding of Python.
- Hands-on experience in Data Analysis.
- Experience in handling Telecom Billing processes like Supplier Invoice Reconciliation, Tariff Management, Customer Invoicing, Suspense Analysis.
- Work on excel/advanced excel for generating internal reports, managing productivity, and performing analysis for stakeholder groups.
