(CB-469) | Lead Engineer

Description: Onhunters is looking for a Lead Engineer for one of our main clients in the renewable energy sector, located in Barcelona, Spain.

Functions:

• Lead tower design and foundation interface engineering from concept development to commissioning of the WTG.
• Focal point for all interfaces both internal and external.
• Technical oversight, management, and coordination of the following workstreams:
  – Integrated Load Analysis (ILA)
  – Tower primary steel design
  – Tower internal design including mechanical and electrical systems and components
  – On time and within budget delivery of project-specific tower design that meets all customer requirements and quality standards.
  – Reporting to chief engineers and T&F leadership.
  – Definition of detailed engineering process and tracking of the planning accorded with requisition engineer.

Requirements:

• Skills:
  – Experience in development of Wind turbines (Offshore or/and Onshore)
  – Experience in NCR (Non-Conformities) processes
  – Previous knowledge about Preparation of technical documentation as Technical Specifications, Design memories, FMEA, validation tests, etc.
  – Familiar with multi-disciplinary environments and multiple stakeholders from different departments inside customer, certification body, or the company itself.
  – Knowledge about different systems to track the FTY (first time yield), OTD (on-time delivery), and possible deviations related to this.
• Desired:
  – Knowledge about standards applicable on WTG development.
  – Experience in Loads analysis related to WTG.
  – Skills on CAD software NX.
  – Experience on using PLM Systems such as Enovia or Corella
