CS541 – Middle Fullstack Engineer (Node.js/React.js)

What you will do
– Develop and maintain well-structured, efficient, and scalable code for both front-end and back-end components;
– Implement user interfaces using modern front-end frameworks and libraries;
– Build robust and secure back-end APIs and services using appropriate technologies;

– Write automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality and application reliability;
– Collaborate with engineering leadership to make strategic technical decisions;
– Contribute to architectural planning and draft Architectural Design Records;
– Work with product and project management teams to help define product direction, feature scope, and plan sprints;
– Participate in standups, code reviews and technical meetings;
– Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly;
Participate in an on-call rotation.
Must haves
3+ years of experience, developing feature-rich web-based applications utilizing the following technologies :
– NodeJ;
– ReactJS;
– Redux / redux-saga;
– ES6+;
– Experience with relational and nonrelational databases;
– MongoDB, Redis;
– Kubernetes;
– Docker;
– CSS, styled-components;
– Git;
– Jira;
GCP (Google Cloud Platform).
Nice to haves
– Typescript;
– Experience leading a small team or mentoring junior devs;
– BigQuery & SQL;
Agile SCRUM.
