Reporting directly to the Senior Procurement Manager, the Associate Procurement Manager Logistics is responsible for delivering business results, implementing global strategies, ensuring continuity of supply and minimizing total cost of ownership, all of which are required to meet the business needs.
Main Responsibilities:
- Developing and deploying strategies to optimize the total delivery cost across an identified set of Logistics categories.
- Engaging with key business stakeholders to maintain alignment with evolving business needs.
- Engaging and collaborating with Logistics Operations teams to drive portfolio optimization and consolidation.
- Negotiating service terms and conditions with suppliers.
- Development, revision, and discussion of commercial contracts with suppliers.
- Ensuring security of supply by driving alternative solutions and contingency plans.
- Upholding supplier service level commitments.
- Delivering savings by identifying and driving cost savings projects and initiatives.
- Providing accurate cost forecasts and understanding key market trends.
- Establishing, developing, and maintaining supplier relationships.
- Representing procurement on cross-functional project teams.
Requirements:

- Successful experience negotiating with large multinational suppliers.
- Ability to adjust to changing variables in the workplace.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication & presentation skills.
- Preferably experience with relevant IT systems.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
