Job Summary:
We are looking to hire a highly motivated Network Technician to join our team within Networking. The position involves delivering hardware, configuration, and fiber connectivity for scaling projects across multiple data center locations. The Network Technician will collaborate with internal customers and external vendors to ensure project success.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Work with Network Engineering & Technical Project Manager teams for smooth project rollouts.
- Manage priorities through ticketing systems and workflows.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to overcome project obstacles.
- Travel within the geographical work area and occasionally outside.
- Troubleshoot cabling infrastructure connectivity issues.
- Specify Power and Cooling requirements and ensure Hardware Racking/Stacking for new equipment.
- Complete customer requests via Remedy trouble ticketing system.
- Participate in hardware migration, basic configuration, and rollout.
A Day in the Life:
You will play a crucial role in scaling the network of data center locations, assisting with capacity management. Travel of up to 20% may be required, including potential international travel.
