Technical and Innovation SAP Expert

Location: Barcelona

Hybrid

As part of Technology and Lifecycle team, you will be involved in various topics related with digital transformation that is part of ISHIFT program and overall Sanofi technology implementations. You will get assigned to different project tasks and will have the opportunity to develop technical and functional knowledge with the support other team members and projects colleagues and have exposure to various aspects of work in international organisation and very large program and outside it.

About the Job

• Take responsibility over overarching technology on functional projects and activities executed as part of the Technology and Lifecycle team; deliver assigned projects as per agreed scope, schedule and costs
• Preparing technology visions and implementing them in various domains of SAP and related ecosystem (SAP BTP, modern AI technology and techniques, including but not limited to LLMs implementation in given context, cloud-based solutions)
• Actively seeking for improvement opportunities when it comes to targeted business or technical challenges in scope
• Coordinate relationship with external providers involved in selected initiatives
• Participate in build of reporting solution, that includes (but it’s not limited) data provisioning/pipelining and data wrangling, data presentation
• Cooperate with other Team members in various areas (testing, integration, SAP cloud, development and system patterns)
• Contribute to the development and consolidation of ISHIFT solution libraries and improvement of existing tooling, with special attention to automation, consistency and quality built in approach
• Coordinate implementation of automation solution for various SAP business processes with usage of dedicated tooling (Robotics process automation, record&replay tools, Low Code / No Code type solutions)

About you

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:

• Bachelor/Master’s Degree in Computer science, Engineering, Economics or comparable

MAJOR SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

• Good understanding of SAP system components and technical layers
• Good understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
• Experience with SAP BTP, with attention to design principles and patterns as well as BTP based programming models (CAP, but also RAP), cloud ALM solutions
• Understanding of DevOps principles, experience in setting up CI/CDs pipelines welcomed, experience in application of those in SAP environment more than welcomed
• Solving problem attitude and ability to autonomously find solution for given challenge (controlled experimentation, PoCs and/or MVPs, search&consume)
• Experience with delivering AI and automations solutions, ability to diagnose business challenge and address it with such solutions
• Openness to new challenges and assignments, that includes SAP framework based innovative solution implementation
• Analytical mind and flexible, pro-active and result driven attitude
