Job Description:

BuddyCompany is on the lookout for a skilled Go Developer with a strong focus on backend admin development and proficiency in microservices architecture. We are seeking someone who is inherently curious, passionate about learning, and eager to explore new ideas and technologies. While a broad spectrum of knowledge is preferred, we also appreciate specialists in specific areas.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Contribute to the development and maintenance of the backend admin services and microservices.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and optimize APIs and manage data storage solutions.
3. Design, implement, and maintain microservices using the Go programming language.
4. Ensure efficient, secure, and well-documented RESTful API design and development.
5. Implement DDD/TDD practices and follow CD/CI methodologies.
6. Contribute to Microservice-based architecture and CloudOps/DevOps experiences, particularly with AWS and Azure.
7. Work in a fast-paced environment using Lean Startup and Agile methodologies.
8. Foster a culture of innovation, sharing knowledge, and promoting best practices.

Qualifications:

• Preferably 1-3 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in at least one compiled language (Extra points for Go) and one interpreted language (Extra points for JavaScript).
• Good familiarity with various database technologies, including SQL and Document-based storage (MongoDB).
• Experience with API Design, LCM & implementations (REST API, OpenAPI specs).
• Familiarity with DDD/TDD and CD/CI practices.
• Strong experience in Microservice-based architecture and services.
• CloudOps/DevOps experience, ideally with AWS and/or Azure.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with Lean Startup and Agile methodologies.
• A proactive, responsible, and eager-to-learn mindset.
• Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written.
