International RDU – Zurich CH based**This is what you will do**:The International IT Portfolio & Operational Excellence Lead for Alexion Rare Disease (RD), will play a fundamental role in building-up, sustaining and advancing the IT International Rare Disease Technology, Digital & Data Projects Portfolio.Through your role you will enable applicable tools and processes for monitoring, governing, and tracking demands, resources, priorities, projects progress, risks, interdependencies, investment budgets, and tracking of business value, to secure operational excellence for the complete IT portfolio of projects and programs for Alexion Rare Disease for our International commercial and medical business functions.In your role as International IT Portfolio & Operational Excellence Lead for Alexion Rare Disease, you will be a key member of the INTL IT Team. You will work closely with the IT business partners, the Head of IT International and Alexion Center of Excellences (COEs) to build roadmaps and drive forward the progression of the portfolio, secure operational excellence,
and delivery across IT INTL for RD.**You will be responsible for**:- Efficiently manage, monitor, and optimize IT portfolio and excellence to improve, standardize, and govern the RD IT INTL portfolio.- Monitor and conduct ongoing demand management, project resourcing and progression analyses, monitor gaps, risks, and issues, propose, and implement solutions.- Monitor and report on the execution of the IT programs/projects and the business value tracking and creation. Generate cadence for regular portfolio status report distribution.- Interact and liaise with the Head of IT INTL, ITBPs, COEs to anticipate roadblocks and provide guidance and review of the portfolio, roadmaps, demands, resourcing, risks,
project inter-dependencies and actively drive and contribute to internal projects evaluation and delivery.- Act as IT Program / Project Manager for strategic initiatives- Partner with Head of IT INTL with advance preparation for strategic planning, deep dives/reviews, IT/business governance meetings in delivering quality presentations.- Partner with the Head of IT and INTL IT team as Chief of Staff with planning and leading team meetings, prepare minutes, drive, and secure follow-up on agreed actions- Secure RD INTL IT portfolio inputs to financial planning processes (Long-Term-Planning (LTP) and Mid-Term-Planning (MTD)), and the continuous budget and investment follow-up.- Maintain a collaborative and valuable relationship with Rare disease International and global ITBPs, COEs, IT project managers, other key internal IT and business stakeholders,
to advance RD IT INTL portfolio and projects to secure delivery and business value.**You will need to have**:- Demonstrated experience as Portfolio Manager and Excellence Lead, advancing portfolio management concepts into operationalization, and a proven track record with delivery of these.- Demonstrated experience with maintaining relationships with key portfolio-related stakeholders to ensure objective facilitation, value delivery and meeting of stakeholder expectations within the overall project portfolio.- Strong communicator with ability to create executive presentation material (ppt) and manage with influence (senior stakeholders, peers,
external partner etc.)- Demonstrated experience with strategy and business/IT roadmap creation and documentation.- Demonstrated experience as strategic IT Project and Change Manager in matrix environment, including a strong understanding of human centered change with analytics and problem-solving capabilities.- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, prioritize activities and manage complexity.- Strong team player, collaborator, and networker with strong critical thinking and reasoning skills, that can deliver solutions and drive improvements.**We would prefer for you to have**:- Master’s degree or equivalent preferred- 5-10 years’ experience working in Pharmaceutical, Biotech-based company or healthcare technology industry in a portfolio management/excellence lead or similar role.- 5-10 years’ experience working in technology, digital and business environment with strong exposure to commercial and medical business operations and excellence;
