We are looking for a talented Senior Category Buyer. In the Procurement Department, you will manage at least 3 categories on a global scope. You will manage the Travel category (strategy & operational) and some of the following categories depending on your experience: Workplace/Real Estate, Finance, Legal, HR, consulting. This role will report to the Procurement Senior Lead Corporate Services & Travel. These categories are essential in supporting Criteo’s business and in shaping the Criteo’s culture and work experience. Your missions:
Procurement:
- Develop sourcing strategies, and collaborate with internal business partners and suppliers to reduce total costs and risks
- Lead tenders/RFPs/RFQs, and achieve additional value and cost savings through negotiations
- Develop and maintain metrics to hold suppliers accountable for performance and delivery
- Communicate appropriately and establish strong partnership with internal business stakeholders and with suppliers
- Analyze category data and metrics to enforce Procurement category strategies and understanding customers’ needs and concerns, across categories and regions, to influence customers’ priorities
- Lead Supplier Relationship Management with strategic suppliers and with internal stakeholders to ultimately improve supplier performance and to strengthen business partnerships
- Contribute to improve Procure-to-Pay processes to drive efficiency and added value services across business and Finance teams
Travel & Expense Management:
- Provide end-users (travelers, arrangers, EAs, VIPs) assistance with travel tools and services queries and ensure traveler safety & satisfaction
- Coordinate and enhance travel processes with other Criteo departments (HR, Office managers, Finance, Marketing)
- Manage and update T&E; processes, tools and intranet portal to ensure, consistency and compliance
- Communicate around travel program to the company or specific groups (top travelers, arrangers, leaders), and animate travel community
- Analyze key T&E; KPIs and performance metrics, defined also with FP&A; teams, to identify new savings/services, optimize travel program, ensure traveler satisfaction and create awareness to employees/managers
- Present and recommend travel & expense strategy to senior leadership
- Lead main vendors contract negotiation and performance follow-up (travel agency Egencia, airlines, accommodation, payment method, safety & security, insurances)
- Build network of business travel managers and suppliers, to carry out continuous benchmark
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Procurement & Supply Chain or Engineering
- 5+ years’ experience in a Procurement organization performing vendor management, contract management, negotiating complex purchases, and running tenders
- Procurement experience in the following categories: Travel (preferred), Workplace/Real Estate, Consulting, Legal, HR, Finance
- Experience related to Travel & Expense Management
- Strong leader who can drive category strategies and build strong relationships and trust with key stakeholders
- Knowledgeable about the supply market and supplier capabilities, technically and geographically
- Demonstrated ability to work as a Project Manager who can prioritize workload and manage complex projects within cost and schedule, within a fast-moving environment
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Collaborative but also work with significant autonomy
- Able to work effectively across functions/teams/geographies
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Out of the box thinking and curiosity are must-have
- Strong skills in MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Sharepoint mainly
- Hybrid Working Mode: mostly remote with the capacity to come to the office
