As a Project Manager, you will support steering a project from the early phase until the completion and acceptance of deliverables by the customer.
Our client, Italdesign, a Volkswagen Group Company, provides design, engineering, and production services for the transportation industry, including final testing, type-approval, support in starting production, and designing complete business models. Italdesign is based in Moncalieri, Torino, Italy, with premises of over 50,000 square meters, a full-scale design and engineering campus, and a cutting-edge development and prototyping center. The company employs about 1000 people in Italy, Germany, and Spain.
Your Functions:
- Customer Support:
- Clients Relationship
- Presentations for potential clients
- RFQ (Request for Quotations) analysis
- Contract and offers + ERP info maintenance
- Orders and Invoicing follow-up
- Administrative Support:
- Briefing and Planning support
- Project information management (input/output)
- Engineers and Resources planning
- Scope of project follow-up
- Project warning situations (budget control, delays)
- Contact with External Suppliers
- ISO9001 and Compliance duties related to the Design Department
Position Requisites:
- Education: Bachelor Degree in Automotive, Mechanical, Management Engineering, ADE, or similar
- 3 years of previous experience in Project Management roles
- Experience in resources management and cost management
- Fluent knowledge of written and spoken English and German (C1) is mandatory
- MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Photoshop and/or other presentation software will be appreciated
- Presentations and communication skills
- Analysis and problem-solving skills
- Customer orientation
- Good team working skills
